Hello and welcome! I can honestly say that the first wedding I ever shot changed the course of my life, sending me in an entirely different, but much more fulfilling direction. I wasn't always a people photographer, in fact before shooting my first wedding I was pretty sure that I did not want to photograph people at all. Thankfully, I was cajoled into it by my friends and family because as I was shooting that first wedding it just clicked for me- this is what I was meant to do, this is why God has given me this talent.

  Photographing people is my main focus now, I love it and I do my very best to make people love being photographed. My mission at every shoot is to provide the most enjoyable photographic experience a person has ever had. I'll bribe, tell good jokes, tell bad jokes (Just a warning - I seem to have more of these!), pratfall, etc...pretty much whatever it takes to make sure they are having a good time.

  When people are having fun, they open up and their personalities shine through, allowing a photo to be more than just an image of what they look like; it captures the essence of who they are. This is the best part of photography for me, when someone looks at a photo and actually "sees" themselves ; when they stare at the photo and you can see that they are reliving and enjoying that moment over again in their mind.

   I would be remiss not to mention the people who are most important to me. First, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for his presence in my life and for sacrificing himself so that I could live. Without him, I would be lost; any achievements I have, I directly attribute to him and to the many special people he has placed in my life, chief among them are Erin, my beautiful wife, and my mom, step-dad, sister and brother.
